Welcome To Music on Main

We are El Segundo’s music studio located in the heart of El Segundo, just one block south of Grand on Main Street. We are a family owned and operated studio – serving El Segundo and the surrounding communities since 2010. We are open 7 days a week and have daytime and evening appointments for your scheduling convenience.

We are pleased to offer private one-on-one music lessons in our brand new and expanded facility, with socially-distanced rooms, as well as private one-on-one music lessons via Zoom in the comfort of your own home. We offer lessons for a wide variety of instruments in a variety of styles. We pride ourselves on offering quality service at reasonable prices, and cater to the beginning musician as well as the intermediate and advanced music student.

Our Philosophy

We are committed to the belief that music education is an important LIFE SKILL for everyone. Learning a musical instrument bolsters creativity, teaches effective communication skills and encourages the values of self-discipline, discovery and expression. Music lessons also increase spatial and cognitive abilities in children which helps them in math and science.

Our Studio

Our air conditioned and ventilated teaching studios feature observation windows, and they come equipped with high-end pianos, guitar amplifiers and drums. For your convenience, we have a waiting area inside the studio with free wifi. There are also a number of shops and restaurants in the area if you prefer not to wait in the studio.

Our Faculty

The teachers at Music On Main are highly experienced at teaching all ages and skill levels – from the very young to the very wise…from the eager beginner to the accomplished musician. Most of our teachers have advanced university degrees, and all are professional working musicians with varied performance credits, including performances with bands and orchestras. They bring this very special expertise to each of their students. Our teachers are carefully screened before they are hired and are chosen from among dozens of applicants.
